Course description
This 1-week course is a practical introduction to programming using Python.
This course is aimed at those new to programming and provides an introduction to programming using Python.
By the end of this course, you should be able to write useful Python programs, use Python for more advanced data analysis and understand more complex Python programmes written by others.
The course is available in four formats:
- Campus – VAT-free
- Clients’ Office
- Online (Virtual Classroom) with live tutoring – VAT-free .
- Bespoke (Group or 1-2-1 coaching) – available on request.

Tutoring
The course is directed by Dr Will Lawrence, who completed his PhD at the department of Electronics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton, and who has a background in psychology. Will has rich experience in delivering training in both Python and R, to diverse audiences.
